On Saturday the 6th October 2007, we had our first “afternoon” tea for the Pink Ribbon Breakfast and it went swimmingly. We all had a great time and raised lots of lovely money to aid the cause. All the girls had lots of laughs and food. Although, we all agreed that if we saw one more piece of pink food we would be ill. That is probably because we all ate too much – I don’t think the colour had too much to do with it. Admittedly pink chocolate crackles were a little weird but no weirder than lots of things that have been consumed within the walls of Blue Willow!!! (Especially Rhonda’s tuna casserole (ouch!) (I asked for that!), (Chrissies home made baked beans and just about anything I personally have “cooked”). We have promised the National Breast Cancer Foundation that we will raise even more next year so look out for the date to be announced and start saving your pennies and prayers to help all of the people working towards a cure.

These cute little projects, that can be made in a day are an homage to all women out there in the world. They were designed by us at Blue Willow Cottage and $5.00 from the sale of each pattern goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
